Teshia saunders

Teshia Saunders (Pronouns She/Her) is a Painter, Illustrator and member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community based in the Okanagan. She finds inspiration in both the vast BC landscape and her own vivid imagination. Teshia was trained in Painting and Studio Art at Capilano University.

She has worked Painting full time as well as part time illustrating book covers for the past two years and loves seeing an authors vision come to life. She has an innate love of pure colour and expresses it generously throughout her work. Teshia is on a mission to capture something of the collective experience in the majesty and beauty of nature and our place in it during the current global environmental crisis.

When she isn’t in her Painting Studio Teshia can be found spending time with her Partner and kayaking the Okanagan waterways.
